How far has a developer moved towards agentic programming?

Paste a GitHub handle, profile link, organization or repository. We read the public commit history for agent signatures and look for agent config files like CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md.

What the report shows

Find the month a developer started shipping with an agent.

ai-ware reads public commit history for the signatures coding agents leave behind, lines them up with the CLAUDE.md, skills and MCP files that appeared along the way, and turns it into a timeline you can share.

Previews below use made-up numbers for an example developer, not a real account.

How it works

  1. 1

    Read the commits

Public commits are scanned for agent trailers and bot signatures: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex, Gemini, Aider and more.

  2. 2

    Date the config files

Each repo is checked for CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, .claude/skills, .mcp.json, Cursor and Copilot rules, and when each first landed.

  3. 3

    Find the switch

Monthly agent share, the month it broke upwards, and a 0–100 score. Works for a person, an org or a single repo.

A lower bound, not a verdict. Detection relies on commit trailers and bot signatures. Agents that leave no trace in commit messages, and squash merges that drop trailers, can't be seen.
